Pershing State Park is a beautiful prairie area that offers a variety of recreational opportunities including camping, hiking, fishing, birding, picnicking, boating and a playground for children. Camping and fishing are excellent here. The scenic park include several hiking trails that wind through streams and prairie lands.
The park offers five main trails that equal about nine miles in length when combing. They are of different levels of difficulty and offer a variety of scenery and terrain. The 1.5 mile trail is handicap accessible.
